  • Summary: This seminar, the first of a series of annual meetings, is scheduled to be held at the Polytechnic University of Madrid between 21 and 23 November next autumn at the Higher Technical Schools of Architecture and Engineering Industrial. Its central theme, on this occasion, will be the cultural heritage of the surface and metropolitan railways. During two intense days, from Thursday afternoon to Saturday morning will meet around the Classroom of Training and the aforementioned topic those experiences existing in our country linked to the academic world in terms of professorships specialized in this heritage so Singular. Obviously the seminar will present the AUM’s own G+I/PAI Classroom. It is a question of analyzing the validity of the syllabus related to industrial heritage underway in the different Schools and University Faculties of Spain. Obviously there is the complicity of the thematic networks already established at national or international level such as INCUNA or TICCICH, DoCoMoMo or others. To take advantage of the seminar to pay for all the efforts made in this regard by institutions such as IPCE or other regional in an integrated collaborative relationship of the university with its teaching and research. To draw, of the time, the experience in these fields of industrial engineering in project management to apply it to the heritage. And of architecture in his methodological knowledge of his contemporary project.
