- Resumen: Si Dorothy fuera contemporánea nuestra, con toda seguridad no habría regresado nunca de Munchkinland. Sin embargo, nuestras casas se parecen bastante a la granja donde regresó de aquel sueño de libertad. Vivimos en casas de ayer una vida de ciencia ficción. Un espacio concebido en el siglo pasado comomachine à habiter es implementado con mecanismos, aplicaciones y artefactos más o menos robóticos que conviven felizmente con cortinones de terciopelo y recuerdos de familia. De la vivienda y su producción como el mayor tema de interés socio-económico del siglo XIX centrado tanto en el tipo como en la regulación dimensional se pasó a una preocupación relativa a la seguridad, la higiene y la salubridad para llegar, ya en las vanguardias del siglo XX, a través de la estética purovisualista, a la industrialización y la prefabricación.
Sin embargo, fuera de la arquitectura, la revolución de la vivienda llegó de la mano del teléfono y la televisión que organizaron el tiempo doméstico y la cotidianidad. El tiempo ha superado al espacio y la casa del futuro ampliada en torno al recorrido del ipad y el smartphone evolucionado se convierte en interfaz entre el cuerpo y la ciudad. Nuestra comunicación pretende introducir “augmented home”, como el tiempo doméstico en un sistema integrado de cuerpo e información.

- Abstract: If Dorothy were contemporary to us, certainly she would have never come back from Munchkinland to a home that looks exactly like that farmhouse she left searching for a freedom dream. We live science fiction lives in yesterday shelters. Series of applications devices and mechanisms invade the machine à habiterconceived last century and live peacefully with blue velvet curtains and family memories. Dwelling meant the main socioeconomic subject in the XIX, and from the housing production focusing both in the type and in a regulation concerning dimensions, safety and hygiene, avant garde architects led their worries either to the aesthetic aspects or to industrialization and prefabrication.
However, as usual, far from architecture, domestic revolution came through telephone and television sets that organized our domestic time. Now, time has overtaken the space and the future home is rather an extent space around the ipad and smartphone user movements, becoming an interface between the body and the city. In this work, we aim to introduce the “augmented home” as the domestic time system that integrate body and information wherever we are located.
