Simbología de la materia a través del arte es un estudio sobre la relación del proceso vegetal la identidad femenina, como metáfora de la transformación material y espiritual a través de la simbología en el arte.Partiendo de la simbología del árbol del conocimiento vinculado a la figura de Eva, el texto desencadena una serie de preguntas sobre la relación vegetal-femenino.
Aparece una línea clara de arquetipos femeninos vinculados con lo vegetal a través de la historia de las mitologías, religiones y culturas, y en sus múltiples procesos sincréticos hasta el día de hoy. Teniendo esto en cuenta, el estudio se articula alrededor de los caracteres elementales femeninos que incitan a la transformación a través de nacimiento, expulsión, nutrición, contención, curación, protección y muerte. Estos caracteres se encuentran en todas y cada una de las diosas vegetales que acompañan a la transformación, que están vinculadas a través del viaje a la muerte, y que se aplican como un proceso espiritual de la materia a través de los procesos vegetales en la naturaleza, siempre representados por estas deidades femeninas.
La simbología de la materia que se transforma, como manifestación espiritual, se aplica de manera ancestral a la figura paradigmática del árbol-mujer, que luego se personaliza en diosas, vírgenes y santas, utilizando un lenguaje determinado en su representación y especificando sus roles simbólicos. La investigación se centra en el mecanismo cíclico de la naturaleza, a través de determinadas representaciones interconectadas – la mujer-semilla, la mujer-árbol, la mujer del sicomoro, la mujer- palmera, la mujer-flor, la mujer-fruto y la mujer-raíz, que vertebran la relación vegetal femenina simbolizada en artistas contemporáneas.
A través de las imágenes de estas diosas-vegetales, de los objetos y símbolos con los que se manifiestan, observamos el origen subyacente en el lenguaje visual y procesal de las obras de artistas concretas, creando una nueva mirada enraizada en la diosa-árbol ancestral.
La tesis desarrolla el mecanismo cíclico natural antes citado a través de las diferentes fases del crecimiento vegetal del árbol-mujer como proceso vital. Comenzando por la Mujer Semilla, donde se hace una relectura de las diosas de los cereales, la relación de la mujer con la agricultura y los objetos contenedores. En relación con la semilla y su cultura se proponen a continuación la Mujer del Sicomoro y la Mujer Palmera a través de las deidades femeninas árbol, con labores determinadas de nutrición y acompañamiento en el viaje al inframundo. La Mujer Flor es la continuación natural del ciclo vegetal, en ella se plantea la sublimación y cambio de estado material a través de toda simbología como metáfora de la ascensión del alma, que confluye inevitablemente en la figura sucesiva, La Mujer Fruto dónde se aborda todo lo relacionado con la encarnación y los personajes que manipulan el fruto como Eva. Finalmente, dando cumplimiento, pero también reinicio, al ciclo vital, se trata la figura de la Mujer Raíz donde se presentan las deidades y personajes mitológicos que operan en las profundidades de la tierra entre las raíces, como metáfora de la muerte. En todas las partes del ciclo consignado se integran las obras contemporáneas en diálogo iconográfico y discursivo inmediato con las figuras míticas aducidas; una conversación que es, en definitiva, el objetivo del texto.

- Abstract: Vegetal processes in the female body. Symbology of matter through art is a study on the relationship of the vegetable process to the feminine identity, as a metaphor of the material and spiritual transformation through symbolism in art.Starting from the symbolism of the tree of knowledge linked to the figure of Eve, the text triggers a series of questions about the vegetable-feminine relationship.
A clear line of feminine archetypes linked to the vegetable appears through the history of mythologies, religions and cultures, and in its multiple syncretic processes to this day. Taking this into account, the study is articulated around the feminine elementary characters that incite transformation through birth, expulsion, nutrition, containment, healing, protection and death. These characters are found in each and every one of the vegetable goddesses that accompany the transformation, which are linked through the journey to death, and which are applied as a spiritual process of matter through the plant processes in nature. , always represented by these female deities.
The symbology of the material that is transformed, as a spiritual manifestation, is applied in an ancestral way to the paradigmatic figure of the tree-woman, which is then personalized in goddesses, virgins and saints, using a specific language in its representation and specifying its symbolic roles . The research focuses on the cyclic mechanism of nature, through certain interconnected representations – the seed-woman, the tree-woman, the sycamore-woman, the palm-woman, the flower-woman, the woman-fruit and the woman-root, that vertebran the feminine vegetal relation symbolized in contemporary artists.
Through the images of these vegetable goddesses, the objects and symbols with which they are manifested, we observe the underlying origin in the visual and procedural language of the works of concrete artists, creating a new look rooted in the ancestral goddess-tree .
The thesis develops the aforementioned natural cyclic mechanism through the different phases of plant growth of the tree-woman as a life process. Beginning with the Seed Woman, where a rereading of the goddesses of cereals is made, the relationship of women with agriculture and container objects. In relation to the seed and its culture, the Woman of the Sycamore and the Palm Tree Woman are proposed through the female tree deities, with determined tasks of nutrition and accompaniment in the trip to the underworld. The Flower Woman is the natural continuation of the vegetable cycle, in which the sublimation and change of material state through all symbolism as a metaphor of the ascension of the soul, which converges inevitably in the successive figure, The Fruit Woman, where everything is approached everything related to the incarnation and the characters that manipulate the fruit like Eva. Finally, giving fulfillment, but also restart, to the life cycle, the figure of the Root Woman is treated, where the deities and mythological characters that operate in the depths of the earth between the roots are presented, as a metaphor of death. In all parts of the consigned cycle, contemporary works are integrated into an immediate iconographic and discursive dialogue with the mythical figures mentioned; a conversation that is, in short, the objective of the text.
