- Resumen: El presente seminario, el primero de una serie de reuniones anuales, está previsto celebrarse en la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid entre los días 21 y 23 de Noviembre del otoño próximo en las Escuela Técnicas Superiores de Arquitectura y de Ingeniería Industrial. Su tema central, en esta ocasión, va a ser el patrimonio cultural de los ferrocarriles de superficie y metropolitanos. Durante dos intensos días, de jueves tarde a sábado en la mañana van a reunirse en torno del Aula de Formación y del citado tema aquellas experiencias existentes en nuestro país vinculadas al mundo académico en términos de cátedras especializadas en este patrimonio tan singular. Obviamente en el seminario se presentará el Aula misma G+I /PAI de la UPM. Se trata de analizar la vigencia de los temarios relativos al patrimonio industrial en marcha en las distintas Escuelas y Facultades universitarias de España. Obviamente se cuenta con la complicidad de las redes temáticas ya asentadas a nivel nacional o internacional como el INCUNA o el TICCICH, el DoCoMoMo u otras. Aprovechar el seminario parra amortizar todos los esfuerzos realizados al respecto por instituciones como el IPCE u otras autonómicas en una relación colaborativa integrada de la universidad con su docencia e investigación. Aprovechar, como no, la experiencia en estos campos de la ingeniería industrial en la gestión de proyectos para aplicarla al patrimonio. Y de la arquitectura en su conocimiento metodológico de su proyecto contemporáneo. Incorporar la colaboración de la UPM en el planeamiento de la ciudad actual, de Madrid, desde el patrimonio cultural y, en concreto, desde el industrial. Hacer, por último, de todo ello u a ocasión de dialogo entre ciudadanos, empresa y universidad, un instrumento de educación a través de este patrimonio moderno mediante la exposición de algunas de las intervenciones más relevantes expuestas por sus autores. Las intervenciones de diversos ponentes de carácter internacional, expertos en patrimonio industrial y ferroviario tanto en el ámbito académico y metodológico, como en las experiencias prácticas de gestión e intervención sobre el mismo, compondrán un amplio panorama multidisciplinar con el patrimonio ferroviario como hilo conductor. Las sesiones de ponencias se completarán con mesas de debate que permitirán establecer un diálogo entre ciudadanos, instituciones, empresa y universidad sobre las implicaciones del patrimonio industrial en el panorama actual.
- Abstract: This seminar, the first of a series of annual meetings, is scheduled to be held at the Polytechnic University of Madrid between November 21 and 23 next autumn at the Superior Technical School of Architecture and Industrial Engineering. Its central theme, on this occasion, will be the cultural heritage of surface and metropolitan railways. During two intense days, from Thursday afternoon to Saturday in the morning, the experiences of our country linked to the academic world in terms of specialized chairs in this unique heritage will gather around the Training Classroom and the aforementioned theme. Obviously, the same G + I / PAI classroom of the UPM will be presented at the seminar. The aim is to analyze the validity of the subjects related to industrial heritage underway in the different Spanish Schools and Faculties. Obviously there is the complicity of the thematic networks already established at a national or international level such as INCUNA or TICCICH, DoCoMoMo or others. Take advantage of the seminar to amortize all the efforts made in this respect by institutions such as the IPCE or other autonomous communities in an integrated collaborative relationship between the university and its teaching and research. Take advantage, of course, of the experience in these fields of industrial engineering in the management of projects to apply it to heritage. And of the architecture in its methodological knowledge of its contemporary project. Incorporate the collaboration of the UPM in the planning of the current city, of Madrid, from the cultural heritage and, specifically, from the industrial one. To make, finally, of all this and occasion of dialogue between citizens, company and university, an instrument of education through this modern heritage through the exhibition of some of the most relevant interventions exposed by their authors. The interventions of several speakers of international character, experts in industrial and railway heritage, both in the academic and methodological field, as well as in the practical experiences of management and intervention on it, will make up a broad multidisciplinary panorama with the railway heritage as a guiding thread. The sessions of papers will be completed with discussion tables that will allow establishing a dialogue between citizens, institutions, companies and universities on the implications of industrial heritage in the current scenario.
