- Resumen: Algunas claves que esclarecen porqué en el concurso del edificio Carrión fue ganador el proyecto de Feduchi y Eced las encontramos en el dibujo, en la imagen creada, en la capacidad de comunicación y persuasión de su lenguaje gráfico. Fullaondo interpreta el edificio en clave expresionista en un emblemático número de la revista Nueva Forma en el que dedica un análisis magistral a un edificio y un movimiento, el expresionismo, con la misma intensidad. No es la única interpretación en la historiografía española que vincula el edificio con la vanguardia internacional sino prácticamente el conjunto de ellas centran sus análisis en las influencias del expresionismo alemán. Por el contrario, en esta investigación pretendemos encontrar las claves que lo vinculan más con algunas, podríamos decir ?invariantes? -parafraseando a otro maestro- de la arquitectura española y propiamente con el fenómeno de la modernidad española, que con el exterior. Es más, aventuraremos verificar la hipótesis de un expresionismo como invariante hispánico.
- Abstract: Some keys that clarify why in the contest of the Carrión building the Feduchi project was the winner and we found them in the drawing, in the created image, in the communication and persuasion capacity of its graphic language. Fullaondo interprets the building in an expressionist key in an emblematic number of the Nueva Forma magazine in which he dedicates a masterful analysis to a building and a movement, expressionism, with the same intensity. It is not the only interpretation in Spanish historiography that links the building with the international avant-garde but practically all of them focus their analysis on the influences of German expressionism. On the contrary, in this investigation we intend to find the keys that link it more with some, could we say? Invariants? -paraphrasing another master- of Spanish architecture and properly with the phenomenon of Spanish modernity, than with the exterior. Moreover, we will venture to verify the hypothesis of an expressionism as a Hispanic invariant.
